I am so frustrated with the care I received form Enhabit. I also chose them because they are a sister company to Encompass rehab and my experience there was phenomenal. Enhabit was the exact opposite. My OTs were helpful but my PTs were a joke. They would come and do no exercises with me and just took my vitals and talked to me then left. I was given no exercises to work on at home, no guidance on what I could work on and I had them discharge me as soon as possible. This organization works with those who have cognitive issues. They visited my mother once, who refused care. When I asked them to try again, and reached out multiple times, no return calls and no help at all (after giving me their initial spiel, 'You'renever alone. You are supported.') Yeah right. If they didn't want to try again, pick up the phone and say so instead of adding to my utter feelings of helplessness. Furnish the care providers with text capabilities, yes, cell phones for the employees! Not everyone can talk in their phones, while at work! I need to be texted, but am reminded how nurses don’t have text capability.
