Ala Romana is an intimate dining option you'll be sure to enjoy. The food is made with delicious ingredients, no matter what you select on the menu. I dined at Ala Romana with a date and she was worried about the menu items because she's vegan. No need to worry, we were served a vegan option that was very tasty.
this is the sister restaurant of allegro romano, and is a darling, local, authentic restaurant right in nob hill. it has a great feel and some unique italian food with some south american influence from the chef. the pizza is so good with a different style crust that i've never had before! there are always great specials and a big emphasis on quality.
Beware !!!!! Food was good but I just received my credit card statement today. My dinner total was $129.00 (including tips) but I was billed for $237.00. They must be thinking I won't check my receipt. Don't ever use your ATM or credit cards there.
