Dr. Al-Shurieki was very proactive in finding the reason I was upper abdominal pain. After receiving my referral, he had his MA to call me for a same day appointment. He scheduled me for a next day endoscopy. He found 3 bleeding ulcers and cauterized them. Dr. Al-Shurieki was very nice, kind and compassionate.
If a colonoscopy could be called a great experience, this was. On the day of the colonoscopy all the staff were fantastic. I don't have one complaint. They were personable, compassionate, efficient, and knowledgeable and you can tell that they are a good working team. Dr Sam was informative and friendly. The pre appointment was less positive. Very patient and calm. Explains everything. Such a nice person.
Met with his PA, Aimee, whom I liked, she listened. However she would not respond to a question & concern regarding a CT scan that was done at W Florida Medical Center. The radiologist neglected to even mention in the report about the two areas of concern. What she could have done would be to simply ask the radiologist to address those two areas. Unfortunately after two calls leaving her a voicemail & another to a receptionist, there has been no follow through.
Excellent dr, made sure i understood everything he was doing and he took the time to listen and i could tell that he gives his patients excellent care
This Dr. in my opinion saved my life. He found a tumor in my colon, it was cancer. Dr. Al-Shurieki takes his time to listen and explain everything well. I would recommend him to anyone needing a Gastroenterologist. I'll see him again in Dec. of this year. Praying for a clear colonoscopy. Thank you Dr Al-Shurieki.
Excellent Care! I wish all my doctor experiences were as great as Dr. Sam is very professional, personal and takes his time to really listen and answer all of your questions. Highly recommend.
He was very nice and professional. He kept me informed the whole time and made sure I was comfortable with what he was doing.
Doing my colonoscopy he was great. He cares about his patients. Staff highly recommends him for this procedure.
