my mother was abused in this sorry excuse for a hospital. filing charges and filing complaint with joint commission as well as MCR. she may not live as a result of her recent stay. highly drugged, abused physically, neglected and left for dead. not the first time for abuse neglect & drugging. since no family was allowed in due to virus we were unable to intervene this time and she may not make it. not even god could help this hospital if we lose her

Been a long time patient here. Me and my family. Not anymore. Super rude service last week. When I told them I can’t come before 3:00 because I work until 3:00, the girl on the phone said, “We can’t keep the place open just for you!” Yeah no kidding. What a way to talk to your patients. Oh well there’s plenty of other places to go when things open back up. Hire a more courteous staff to change things.
RecommendedI would just like to send a personal thank you to all of the staff and administration. My mother recently spent several days on comfort care on the 2nd floor. As painful as it was to sit by my mother side until she took her last breath, it was extremely helpful and comforting to know that the staff, the nurses, the clinicians, those from nutritional services and everyone else in between who werewere all so kind and sweet and nice and helpful. worst customer service . I understand with covid 19 but when a new patient asks for help.. saying to google it it's not your problem isn't something someone wants to hear.

I have been here with my 4 year old since 530pm. we havent been seen by anyone. no one has any answers. wtf is wrong with this place. there is no one in the waiting room no one has come in. it's just us. this is ridiculous
They start charging your insurance company or your pocket the second you go through Triage. But yet you sit 5-6 hrs to be even called into a patient room. Then wait longer to be seen. This hospital had totally gone down hill in the past 20 yrs. Either hire staff that actually want to work and not play on their phones or stand around taking. Or sell it to a medical firm that will have the better needs of the people of Olean and surrounding areas health in mind.
I have nothing bad to say about the Maternity Floor, and the doctors and nurses up there, HOWEVER, Hands down worst experience of my life in the Emergency room. Avoid this ER at all costs! Was sent there by the wound clinic, none of the nurses would tell me what was going on, no doctor saw me until the end of the night, he never even introduced himself, no one would answer any questions, at one point we waited three hours for anyone to even check on me, even after hitting the call button!
