I was critically ill this past week which is where I met Dr Dera at FGH - he admitted me to ICU where I stayed for a few days , I didn’t realize how close to stroke I came and I can’t thank him enough for what I consider to have been nothing short of life saving care . This experience was the most critically ill I have been in my life and to say I was frightened is an understatement - his knowledge and calm approach truly gave me what I needed to trust and to fight for my health ! God bless this man
I met Dr. Dera when my mom was admitted to Forrest General after having problems with a giant stomach ulcer. He was incredibly caring, he listened to her, and knew what was likely to be wrong pretty much immediately. He also checked in periodically and you can just tell he really cares and wants to help you as quickly and effectively as possible. He’s awesome!
