Dr. Akmal is a very good doctor. I've seen him several times, but now relegated to our yearly physical. He has a good bed side manner, listens, & provides good feedback. Over the last couple of years the wait time has decreased and I am in & out in about an hour.
Dr. Akmal saved my life in 2010. Something my previous Dr. Completely overlooked. He is very dedicated to his patients and has a great bedside manner.
Takes hours to get in, cannot get in If you owe a balance, will Not call in a med I have taken for ELEVEN YEARS- Had to go to a hospital to get seen as ankles had swollen to gigantic lugubrious size with facial swelling as well... Want to go to Nayeem?, not on your life! Sorry sitution
Dr Akmal is the best doctor ever he listens and pays attention to your symptoms and always over extend his time to make sure he goes over everything with you.
The good. Dr. Akmal is knowledgeable and I feel cares about me. I come for Dr. Akmal who once you see him gives you all of the time you need & I don't feel rushed. The bad. I would give a higher rating, but the wait times at Rockdale Family Practice are terrible. Each time I go (twice a year) I've sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes, then another 30 minutes or so in the exam room.
