Dr. Yamamoto did my left knee replacement 2 years ago. Now it's time for my right knee to be replaced (45 years of racquetball), and my first choice as surgeon was Dr. Yamamoto. He is calm, engaging, explains thoroughly, and wonderfully competent. Other medical staff voluntarily said they considered him the best option. Excellent doctor, very personable and knowledgeable. He gives you the pros and cons and then lets you decide.
My wife slipped and broke her left patella in Hawaii and because of the necessity for surgery and a long recovery and she had no pain as long as her leg was braced straight, they recommended we fly home for treatment. The surgeon we were assigned at our clinic was Dr Yamamoto and we got an immediate appointment.
