Japanese food You can get Chinese food anywhere, but there are very few places to get authentic Japanese food. We had dinner with friends at Akira and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Seafood was fresh and perfectly prepared. Have gone back several times and introduced other friends to their great food.

Akira Japanese Steakhouse in Solon The worst Japanese restaurant I ever eat in. Though the chefs were fun and good the service is very poor. The owner is somewhat annoying and prevented us from ordering what we want. The server we had was rude and did not pay attention to her customers. Of particular note was we noticed her smooching with the bartender instead of serving her customers...we had to ask another server to get us refills. I do not recommend going here.

This is the best sushi around! I am never disappointed with the food or my service.
The chef was very entertaining and did all the food perfectly. The filet and lobster combo totally grand- one of the best filets I have had. I hope to return sometime.
