I was traveling in Honokaa and had part of a tooth break off. I called Dr. Akioka, and he was so helpful and kind. Although I was not an existing client, he saw me right away and fixed the problem at a reasonable price. He's terrific!

Dr Akioka listened patiently and attentively to my recap of past woes at the hands of other dentists, periodontists, and orthodontists. He is a well-trained, no-nonsense practitioner who doesn't try to up-sell a patient on a bunch of superfluous "modern" treatments...(some might call him "old school").
