This is now my favorite sushi restaurant in Washtenaw County. I ate there for the first time last night, and was back again tonight! I LOVE their volcano rolls. Service & presentation are also excellent.
My first time here. The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious! The staff were polite and helpful. The place was very clean and stylish. 5/5 guys, great job!

My partner and I love sushi, and this place makes the best in the area. The atmosphere was really nice, too. Really comfy and chill. The employees were really nice! Try the volcano roll- it's their house specialty and it was absolutely phenomenal.
I went for my first time last evening and was pleased. I don't know all the different types of sushi, but the server was patient. The Miso Soup, Japanese fried rice, hand held sushi, and Japanese pineapple soda were wonderful. I also tried the Samurai roll but I wasn't expecting the raw salmon part to be cut so thick. I am still getting used to the uncooked part of it all. Overall, it was a great meal.
AKI has great japanese food that is a true treat to go to and eat. Great service, prices and food. I will tell everyone I know about this place, I want them to stay in business for a very long time.
