Dr. Akerman is the sweetest Pediatric Dentist you could find – My daughter LOVES Dr. Akerman and she is quite the dental phobe. She still cries but Dr. Akerman puts her at ease and is so gentle with her. My daughter won't go to anyone else. I recommend Dr. Akerman to anyone who is looking for a great dentist for their child.
Expensive – For both adults and children. I had to wait more than an hour for my child's first appointment. For my visit, they gave me an enormous dental estimate that I have never experieced with any other previous dentists (FYI: I 've moved a lot from states to states). Mind you, I go for a regular check up every 6 months. The nurse told me it would be 30$ for today (x-rays & dental check up are usually free with my insurance?) instead of asking me would you like a cancer screening for 30$?
