I live at their Dwell Vienna Apartments in Fairfax, VA. I am a property manager for Greystar. Heat went out on a Sunday night. Clearly the maintenance people are not verified to fix it in house, which is fine. A vendor was suppose to be out on Monday. Then we were told Wednesday. Now we are told not until Thursday. Was unfortunate to live in one of their communities for almost a year. I enjoyed the building and general amenities but within a few weeks of living there my vehicle was illegally towed from the parking lot with a valid parking pass displayed. The tow company said they could not see the pass through the window tint, 35%. After showing photos of picking up the vehicle with the parking pass displayed Akelius brushed it off and would not reimburse for this towing. All of my interactions with individuals in the rental office, service staff and associates have been positive. They were knowledgeable, clear and expedited the rental process to accommodate my needs. They facilitated my successful move-in. They are prompt to address and resolve maintenance issues.

My apartment is out of light at this location and they refused to work on it, I think 311 needs to be called otherwise a fire is going to start with this old breaker box, on top of that, they put a new breaker box but they won’t turn it on because I don’t want them to renovate my apartment and raise my rent by $2100, on top of that, they are trying to tell me I can’t have more than 1 appliances in my apartment when I don’t owe them nothing at all, and this has been going on for almost 6 years now and the property manager? If I could give zero stars I would. Do not live in their buildings. It is impossible to get ahold of property managers. I've been reporting problems of MICE since I've moved in - for 5 months now, and they continue to ignore it. No replies, no solutions, no fixes. Multiple holes chewed through my walls. They patch up the walls and then a new one appears. They do not care that their buildings are infested with mice - they just keep patching it up and doing the bare minimum.
