As others have said, when anything needs fixing it's a complete nightmare. I've had to threaten legal action multiple times to get the heat turned on because it violates New York heating law.
Ilir is a plumber and several times he’s had to come and work on plumbing issues. He has been kind, he works hard and communicates well with information about the job. His customer service is excellent.
I can’t speak for all these other negative reviews, However, I’ve had nothing but a great experience living in an akelius building. I’m going into my third year here and have zero complaints. I love my apartment and my girlfriend and I love living here. Prompt reply’s from their service center, hallways stay clean, anytime I’ve had a maintenance issue, it gets resolved almost immediately.
