I did telehealth throught my insurance for bipolar disorder and he knew exactly what to prescribe to make it a lot more manageable. Im thankful for him.
No sense of care! We have contacted and paid copayment for receiving a medical clearance for a procedure that is very vital. It’s been a week, no one picked up the phone and no communication and no medical clearance. It is really frustrating.
Dr. Akbar and I correspond via Telemedicine. He has always been thoughtful, informative, and all around wonderful.
BEWARE. This doctor is a fraud. He was well informed of our appointment details prior to our virtual appointment. Knowing he wouldn't be able to assist with my prescription, he joined our 1 minute call just to state that he couldn't assist me due to being out of state. Before he could tap off our call, I asked whether I would be charged (given the circumstances that our appointment provided zero benefit), he said it wouldn't be necessary and any charges would come from my insurance specifically.
