Dressed in regal finery this Indian restaurant treats one exactly like a king. If the Rajasthani print decor, with drapes and comfortable chairs do not give the feel of royalty, then the delightful food simmering with rich spices will surely set the mood. The vegetarians can feast on sumptuous Mutter Paneer, Chana Pindi and Malai Kofta whereas the non vegetarian menu has the popular Malai Chicken and Kali Machee. The bar offers wine and liquor with the food. one can pick-up and enjoy the meal at home. Akbar also hosts private functions in its three plush venues. Catering facilities are provided too.

I am generally a very laid back guy and give people the benefit of the doubt and don't put negative reviews to hurt any business. However, september 18, 2021 and september 19, 2021 will be etched in my memory forever.we had a two day wedding party at this restaurant. Over the years, We have had multiple weddings at different venues in our family but Akbar restaurant/hotel was by far was the worst experience we have ever encountered. The service was terribly awful and we were embarrassed because we had out of family guests and co-workers and we could see the frustration on there faces. The food service beginning from appetizer to main course(whatever was leftover from the day) was beyond terrible. To give you an example, we had 150 plus guests and they only had 3 waitors doing everything from serving cold drinks to serving food at the table.and they charged us for like 7 waitors. Food was not labeled and no-one know what was being brought into century old dishes and first serving was brought at 10:20 P.M. to be exact. at some table, there was food with very minimal portion with no bread and on other tables there was bread/naan that came in with 50 small pieces of a naan...i mean it was a joke and no main course.cutlery arrangements were terrible and there was not enough plates for our guests. I understand that it is COVID time and things are hard for the restaurants but they definitely need to work on maintenance of the hall. I could say so many other things but I think people will get the picture. If you are expecting guests out of family and pick akbar as your place, well good luck.

They are very, very rude! If you ask for something, they tell you everyone is working. But then you turn your head and find 2 waiters fixing each others bow ties. The manager is rude and argued with me. I told him that I don’t see anyone serving or cleaning up. And he kept saying what do you want? Worst place to have an event. WONT GO THERE AGAIN!!!
