Akasha is terrific Akasha is one of my new favorite places. The chef focuses on organic, locally grown foods. The taste combos are wonderful. The setting is open but a little bit noisy.
Akasha The restaurant, named after the chef Akasha Richmond, is housed in a large industrial space which is warm and welcoming. They serve tasty comfort food and great desserts. Also kid friendly.
Overrated Akasha has been getting a lot of good press but I don't feel the food or the service is worth the price. While the space is nice the food is sold on it's "local source" origins. That is not enough when you are charging as much as they are.
AKASHA The food is terrific! In addition to their great food they also have an excellent wine list. Check out their happy hour and nightly specials as you can save big time. And I love the atmosphere.
Food was hit or miss. Service was abysmal. 20% service charge automatically included. No thanks.
