Dr Makkar has a terrific bedside & office manner!!! Will ask questions and give you information that you need. Always enjoy seeing him and he has really helped me improve my health!!!! Thanks Dr!!!
I had a visit with Dr. Makkar yesterday (Friday) and instead of ordering more tests, he discussed immediate action to remedy my AFib rather than talking about it. I called the scheduler to see if I could have surgery sooner and she called me the next day (Saturday) and got me scheduled. So far I am impressed.
So I actually like Dr. Makkar. I’ve never had a problem with any of the girls that work there. So I’ve had 4 heart surgeries one being open heart. Now I have a defibrillator in which was the worst decession of my life. Let me tell you why! So I have degenerative disc disease. I need back surgery. If I keep going I can end up paralyzed. My condition is super bad. Now I haven’t had good experience with other cardiologist. Mostly cause I advocate for my self and doctors don’t like that.
