Not authentic Japanese food – This is a Korean run restaurant so it really misses on the authenticity. I found the food to be medeocre... i think they cooked the tempura at the wrong temperature because it was a very heavy batter with a hard crunch (it should be light), and the "sushi chef" clearly did not have the requisite 7 years apprenticeship because the vinegar in the rice was off. Fresh Sashimi and Sushi – One of my favorite Japanese restaraunts in the Bay Area. Have dinner here and walk the 20 feet to The Guild for a good independent movie, or across the street to the legendary Kepler's book store.
