My god! What a shocking experience. Stayed here for three nights, some of the worst three nights of my life. Where to start? Firstly we were lied to. The website told us our room had a bunk bed. We arrived to be greeted by two mouldy, dirty mattresses on top of each other which barely fitted me and my friend. Next, the bathrooms. This youth hostel is great！！The receptionist, Avy, speaks Chinese and gave us a lot of free travel advice, including information about public transportation. She was especially warm and patient.
Room was very smelly. Dirty sox smell. Air-conditioning actually worked , very good. Service 95% great smilling people who were very kind. As an older traveler I was unaware there was an age restrictions at this hostel. On arrival the female receptionist said no one over 55 is admitted , it's on our web page".
