I did a class with my mom and friend as complete beginners. We had an amazing time! The class was so fun and Maddy was such a lovely teacher. The shop was so cute and the price for the class was incredibly fair. Not only did we get a beautiful stained glass piece, we also were given as many lattes, drinks, and teas as we wanted. Maddy at AkalaStudios was SUPER helpful, generous, and a talented artist who helped me finish a project I had been working on for 2 years! She was extra patient with my learning skills, and compassionate about teaching the art. Her shop is really something you should experience for yourself— so beautiful and welcoming. Thank you, Maddy!

I took a stained glass class here with a friend and had such a wonderful experience! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming and the space itself was cozy and inviting. They even offered free coffee, drinks, and snacks all of which were delicious. The class was well organized and we learned so much while having the best time. Highly recommend Akala Studios for anyone looking to try something new and creative!

This art studio is everything I’ve ever dreamed of in a creative space. The ambiance is pure magic — art everywhere, cozy bookshelves, whimsical Halloween decorations (yes, even in July!), and such an inspiring energy from the moment you walk in.
