Not only is the art at Akala studios beautiful stained glass, but the classes are so much fun! My husband and I have done a date night and we’ve done a work party there as well. Maddy is accommodating and knowledgeable and helps everyone from beginners and up. The environment is so cool and very cozy and eclectic. There’s so much fun stuff to look at and the coffee is delicious! A hidden gem truly to be discovered!
I would absolutely recommend Akala Studios to anyone! The studio is so cute and cozy. The coffee was delicious! I had such an amazing time learning from Maddy how to make some fun stained glass Christmas trees. She was so welcoming and made the class very beginner friendly for all ages and was an excellent teacher. I did not feel rushed to complete my project. Went alone so was a little nervous, immediately after walking in to this adorable comfy looking place I was greeted and made to feel welcome. Offered a delicious coffee while I was waiting for the stained glass class to begin. The class itself was super fun, Maddy was so encouraging and helpful. Love my Christmas lights, can’t wait to put them on my tree. I’ll be back for more classes!
ALL THE VIBES! Obsessed with Akala Studios & already scheduled my second stained glass class. My friend and I went this weekend to our first ever stained glass workshop and made cute book charms. Maddy is so knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Brandon (I think) is the best barista offering dirty chai lattes and crafted mocktails as we worked. The experience couldn’t have been better. I highly recommend it for a fun crafty day/night out.
