Do not walk…RUN to this studio and learn from Maddy. She’s amazing. The space is divine. What a blast I had and made the cutest Dino plant stake. I walked in not knowing a thing about stained glass and walked out feeling comfortable and creative. Can’t wait to go back

I’m just finishing a 3 month stay in FL and I’ve been at Maddy’s Akala Studio twice a week for the duration. It’s a home away from home. A very comfortable and supportive place to learn and/or work with stained glass. Maddy is supportive and encouraging and just simply a delightful young woman to hang out with. I love Akala Studios! I’ve taken more than one class here and the fused glass class was another great experience. Maddy is fantastic—she walks you through everything step-by-step but still lets you get creative and make something uniquely yours. The whole vibe is fun, supportive, and inspiring. Can’t wait to come back!
I attended one of the stained glass classes making little cactus with a friend. Both of us learned a lot. The basics of failing and soldering. Maddy and Tina were so helpful and helped us with anything we needed. Will definitely take another class in the future.
