Such a great inclusive experience!
I signed up for a succulent/flower class! I was nervous because I signed up alone. Walking into the studio, I was immediately relaxed! There was so much character and Knick knacks everywhere. The space was creative. There are books, games, artwork, oh I can’t even remember what else. I wish I took more photos of the space. There is seating, a coffee shop space and the studio in the back where the class took place. The beginner class was so fun. Maddy is a great teacher giving you step by step and helping when needed. Tons of patterns and glass to choose from to make your own unique piece. Great date opportunity or just hanging with friends or looking for something to do alone, this is a great class and a really fun time.
I’ve been dying to go to a class and finally was able to and I can’t say enough great things. First of all, the space was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I’m obsessed! The class was amazing! Maddy is a great teacher and socializing with everyone and creating such cute pieces was genuinely a therapeutic experience! I never thought I’d love glass making as much as I did, but it’s so fun! I can’t wait for my next class! Also East Coast Trading Co made the BEST lattes ever! 10/10
i highly recommend akala studios if you’re creative and love a place with atmosphere!! as soon as you step through the door, you’re greeted with so much personality! unique craft classes and art merge with a coffee bar that makes the whole thing feel like a speakeasy. maddy and brandon are the nicest people ever. YOU NEED TO VISIT
