This is my first time getting up the list. From what I have experienced so far is ; the caseworker have not established rapport . Her tone of voice seems snappy to me,but that is ok. However,they (Ahfc) needs to offer some videos about their program and how it works. I can not give them five stars at this time.
Polite people! Unfortunately have had problems find the right person that can help with your inquiry . When you find that person nicely can't get anything accomplished to help with the issue at hand.
Alaska housing is pure evil all these case workers keep getting replaced one after one after one they all hate their jobs they treat you like garbage and they don't trust you they don't follow their own rules.....
The waiting list is 12-18 months for disabled/senior housing. I recommend going through Rural USDA loans, or Mental Health Trust Authority to buy land.
I just called to speak with a supervisor (MaryEllen) because the staff was unable to provide me any clarification about what was going on with my file. She straight up told me she “wasn’t going to do that” and “didn’t have the time” to check my file. Very unprofessional. I’ll be hopefully housed by Cook Inlet before having to continue to deal with such rude staff. Especially coming from a supervisor.
