AJ has wide selection of liquor and wine. The store is clean and inviting. The owner and employee were familiar with their selection and provided recommendations for good bourbon.
Packaging doesn’t feel or completely look like the normal packaging and the color of some liquors is very different. For example: a vodka that is usually pretty green elsewhere is nearly clear here. Two different alcohols had very strong acetone tastes and made the back and roof of my mouth feel funny. I poured out everything I bought after drinking one airplane bottle shot and taking a small taste of some vodka because it was all just too weird.
I stopped in today to check this new store out. The staff was friendly, and prices were fair. They happen to have my usual favorites, so I'll be back for sure.
