The BEST late night stop in San Marcos Texas !! Excellent food and service...The Texas Philly & the Brisket grilled cheese on sour dough WITH a fried egg...SHUT THE FRONT DOOR !! :) GET THE VERDE RANCH !!
Well most of everyone i went with ordered sandwiches they loved my family ordered meat by the lb which is reheated and not fresh very disappointing also no unsweet tea or diet drinks
My buddy, Doug Sigler and I drove from Houston to San Marcos to dive Spring Lake. Our first day here we happened across AJ's. After our dive we came back for lunch. The brisket is amazing! We ordered another round of sandwiches to take to the hotel for supper and of course stopped for lunch today before leaving town. Darrin and Abby did a great job of serving us each time. We already are planning our next trip and AJ's will be part of the plan! Best BBQ around!
Great service! The young man there, not sure if he was an owner or not, did a great job of greeting everyone that walked in, was very courtious & polite, and checked up on everyone. I go for their foot-long corn dogs. They're amazing!
Great food and very filling. A must try. I had their famous Fried Egg Bacon Cheeseburger which is by the way a 1/2 pound of meat.
