Our waitress, Molly I think her name was, on our most recent visit to Ajs, made our meal so very pleasant. She was friendly and attentive. The food was wonderful. The prices were reasonable. It is not a fancy place, but it is clean and comfortable. I've eaten here twice and honestly it is the only place I'll consider eating at when I visit the shops at Historic Smithville. We ate next-door to Ajs once...food was okay, pricier and service was AWFUL.

It's a place that I love going to. It's not too far from home. My grandsons love going because one of them is called AJ. They have good food & they give you large portions.
Good prices and food nice old time country atmosphere
Food was average to below average. Burger buns were so large and didn't taste fresh. The side of potato salad was barely a side. They should be larger for the price you pay. French fries had no taste and were dry. Iced tea was very weak. As we looked around many other tables were also thinking the same thing.
Went out with the family for family diner and had a great experience. Great customer service and the food was outstanding. Waitress was attentiveness she was very good with the kids witch is a plus. Hard to find a restaurant that is kid friendly. Keep up the great service and great food. Will come again.
