Went there for dinner on a Friday just as they opened and they were sold out of halibut. How can a restaurant in the halibut capital be sold out when they open their doors?
We love AJ's! Anytime we are in Homer we make a reservation for dinner! I always ask if the chef is making Truffle Butter! And he ALWAYS does when I ask. I'm bringing my mom for an early birthday dinner and my wife for a late birthday dinner This Sunday July 16th. My brother J.C. Smith is playing his last gig in Alaska before moving out of state! We are gonna eat the best steak in Alaska (with Truffle Butter I hope) and listen to J.C.'s last songs played in AK.! Life don't get ant better than that!!

Love this place went there when my sister was visiting with a big group. Had ribeye steak, chicken ceaser salad that was so huge loved it, and had pasta alfredo that was amazing definitely going again. Hopefully soon. Maybe our date night once husband is back from fishing..

Went for our anniversary. We had the ribeye and the prime rib. Best steak I've had on the Peninsula. Excellent service and atmosphere!
