My first visit..referred by another ENT because of Dr. Chitkaras expertise with my situation. They both seem concerned about me and my situation. I have a procedure scheduled and have faith in Dr Chitkara. So far so good.

This "doctor" is a joke. AJAY CHITKARA had ABSOLUTELY NO BEDSIDE MANNER - he told me, a 36 year old, that I lost hearing and it would NEVER return. I cried, and he sat there and said "There's nothing I can tell you that will make you happy." COMPLETE MIS-DIAGNOSIS. I saw an ACTUAL doctor who put me on a round a meds and cleared up my inner ear issue within less than 10 days. I also had 2 audiology tests done after seeing this joke of a practice and my hearing is 100%. I would NEVER recommend him or the practice he works for.... read more

Had vocal cords scoped twice by Dr. Chitkara. . Best experience, hardly felt the instrument, didn't gag. Very knowledgeable, latest equipment. HIGHLY recommend him.

Periodic loss of voice. Explained what he was going to do. Discussed findings and options. I was able to talk at time of visit and was told that when I lose my voice again to call and that he would see me at that time.

I called Dr. Chitkara specifically for my vocal chords. Waited a month for an appointment, they don't accept my insurance, and wouldn't tell me the charge other than "at least $250". Lost time from work to get there, called to say I'd be 15 minutes late. I was left sitting in the waiting room for an hour, and then asked when he could see me. "oh, he's running late". YOU COULDN'T TELL ME THAT WHILE I WAS WAITING?? I walked out. Unprofessional, inconsiderate, to heck with that stuff!

I would NOT recommend him for pediatrics. I don't know how he is as a doctor for adults, but peds no way. I have a 5 month old and I was referred to him by my pediatrician for breathing issues with larynx and we sat in his office waiting for almost 3 hours until we were seen and at that point we were only seen because I said we were going to leave... come on- a 5 month having to wait over 3 hours!!! Then after the visit I call and leave a message for him about her breathing... no return call!
