Montagna Located in the Little Nell Hotel, Montagna is arguably the best restaurant in town, but while laying claim to that reputation, still is in line with the Aspen casual atmosphere. Its menu is creative with everything from locally inspired farmhouse tasting events to pastas, game, poultry and delicious fish choices. Prices, as one might expect, aren't cheap, but this is Aspen and this is The Little Nell. That being said, it's worth it.

Worst Dining Experience Ever!!! – Hostess Ajax changed our reservation from 7pm to 8pm no reason given compromised on 7:45 pm Why? Truth as stated by hostess on our departure we like to be out of here by 9pm on Tuesdays Meal Ordered- 2 bison burgers medium rare/medium Menu listed to be served on a foccacia bun w/buffalo mozzarella & greens Served (aside from the charred outside) raw, no cheese, on a regular hamburger bun hard (as hard a crouton), and potato chips!
