Our experience working with Robert Gordon has been excellent. Two years ago, we found ourselves in a difficult housing situation and needed to secure a new apartment and move in less than ten days. Robert was incredibly responsive and helped us view and sign for our apartment the very same day we reached out. Since then, we have been very happy in the apartment. Robert made a difficult situation much easier, and the building has been well managed throughout our tenancy. We definitely recommend Robert and AJ Clarke.

Really happy with my experience with AJ Clarke and my building. Robert Gordon helped me through a roommate transition midway through my lease and then a resign with an entirely new roommate. He has always been easy to reach and answered any questions I had about my lease. My building is well maintained, clean, and has a live-in super who truly cares for the space. Couldn't ask for a better experience with my first NYC apartment!
They have a poor reputation for good reason. Not easy to deal with and you may never get your security deposit back. I had to go after them months later. I even assigned my apartment to a friend so they had zero reason to keep it. Then despite living there many years they will deduct fees for holding it, super unethical but wasn’t worth suing.
