FIVE STARS. We had a heating unit go out -- called our warranty company, and within the hour a rep from Airstar called and scheduled a tech to come out on the same day. Within an hour of the scheduling call we had a SUPER tech named Carlos at the door. Carlos quickly and efficiently fixed the problem and explained in detail what had occurred. He even took my husband up to the attic to show him what was done and basically gave my husband a Heating 101 course. SUPER experience from beginning to end. RECOMMEND.
Air Star needs some tips on proper customer service. In this Texas heat, a home with no AC needs immediate attention and empathy for the customer to arrive as indicated. They are not on time nor do they contact you to let you know that they wont be on time. They set up an appointment to arrive from 11 to 2 and don't show up until 5 with no parts available to repair the issue. NICE SERVICE TECH BUT PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS – Adam The Answer Man Had the A/C Run Capacitor I needed for less than $50 (probably at good margin) that the service company, AIRSTAR SERVICES INC. offered to make me a discounted deal on for $300.00 Plus the $69.95 service call. AIRSTAR also wanted to charge me $250 to chemically wash my condensor coils. I did it in 30 minutes for free! ROBBERY!
