Heating wouldn’t come on. Technician found a bad flame sensor. Replaced it and tested multiple cycles. Heat now starts every time with no issues at all.
Thermostat wouldn’t hold temperature. They recalibrated the sensor and updated the firmware. It now maintains the exact setting and adjusts gradually without any overshooting.
AC made a loud bang during operation. Found a disconnected duct that collapsed during use. Reconnected and supported it. System is now silent and airflow is back to normal.
System only worked if thermostat was tapped. Diagnosed a loose connection at the base. Secured the terminals and now all buttons respond properly without needing pressure.
Furnace made a screeching noise at startup. Blower motor bearings were worn out. Replaced the motor and the noise disappeared. Heat is strong and the unit runs quietly again.
