Airco went to one of my rentals, the tech called after fixing the issue without reaching out for approval to proceed with a repair, he told me the total was $289. I later received an invoice for $335. The next day, same issue, I call them back. They said they would send a tech out and they would arrive between 6-8. In a five minute period they called me four times. I called back to see what was needed, dispatch stated they were just calling to confirm my appointment, I confirmed. No one ever showed up.

They put a 1" filter box in front of the air handler without even measuring the massive change in static pressure it caused. It significantly reduced the filter surface area which I was unaware of the implications of at the time. Also didn't use a standard 4 or 5" filter box which would've prevented the static pressure drop. They solved some other issues from the previous installer, but the price was exorbitant for the service provided ($7400 for some upper attic duct replacement).
