Our AC was running a little inefficiently for weeks and after some investigation it seemed to be a filter and coil issue. The technician validated my concerns and made a good cleaning of the coils, changed the filters and finished in a little over an hour.
The technician found the problem was a bad heat exchanger after a little over 2 hours and described in great detail why it needed to be replaced and not repaired. Having had some experience with less communicative contractors in the past, it was reassuring to have someone walk me through the process, step by step.
