My2 year old AC unit quit working. It was under warranty and I wanted a local business to do the service. After a call to Air Shield a technician came out the next morning and determined what was wrong. He said he will order parts for repair and they will be shipped overnight. Cost of service call $89, cost for next day air $150. Seemed reasonable. I paid both amounts and asked if they had a portable room AC unit for use while waiting for repair. I have been with Air Shield for quite a few years now, and they never disappoint. I awoke at 6:30 this morning to discover my AC had died overnight. I called the number thinking I would leave a voicemail, and was shocked when Tammy answered the phone, at 6:30 am! She was more than helpful and was able to get Carrie to my house by 9 am. Everyone at Air Shield is knowledgeable, polite, punctual, and clean. We use them for our bi-annual HVAC maintenance. We recently had them clean our ducts. They did an outstanding job.
