Doctor Ainsworth performed cataract surgeries on both of my eyes. From the start to finish I experienced no pain. He explains everything in detail and answers all my questions. I like the fact Dr Ainsworth takes his time with his patients. I highly recommend Dr Ainsworth.
I have been very satisfied with Dr. Ainsworth. My friend recommended Dr. Ainsworth to us years ago. My father had his first cataract surgery in St. Augustine and became completely blind afterwards and Dr. Ainsworth did my uncle’s cataract surgery and everything went great, so I took my father to see Dr. Ainsworth and he re-operated and was able to restore my father’s sight. My whole family has been going to him every since.
Doctor Ainsworth was recommended to me by a friend and endorsed by my PCP. I have had two cataract operations in the past 2 months. He explained everything to me about the upcoming surgeries. Everything went well and I had no pain at all. One thing I like about Dr Ainsworth is that he takes his time with me and I never feel like I am rushed.
Great Doctor!!
Myself, family members and friends have been going to Dr. Ainsworth for years. I would not go to anyone else and neither would they. I love his staff. They are always caring and kind. They try to work around your needs.
This is a very lovely practice. Everyone is professional, kind and helpful.
Very disappointed in office staff. Diabetic patient scheduled for 12:15 surgery? What kind of patient care is that? No food after midnight the night before means 2 skipped meals. Perhaps if more attention was paid to patient care instead of emphasizing the "no perfume" rule at each interaction would be a better use of limited resources. Rural areas have limited options when it comes to health care. Excellence isn't expected, but common sense would go a long way towards satisfaction.
I went to Dr. Ainsworth with an eye infection which in a very short visit he said was from wearing my contacts too long and sent me on my way. After three days my eye was no better so I went to another local doctor and turns out I have Iritis a very serious eye infection which puts a lot of pressure on the eye and can be very dangerous. He prescribed steroid eye drops every two hours and within 6 hours my eye was much better and less painful. My recommendation - don't go to Dr. Ainsworth.
