After years of experiencing debilitating ADHD symptoms I went to Dr. Malik for an adult ADHD evaluation. Unfortunately, he could not help me, despite having this as a specialty on his website. We had two brief sessions and at the second session he said that I could not have ADHD since I’ve had a conventionally successful career and don’t exhibit many of the hyperactive symptoms seen in textbook cases. I have only good things to say about my experience with Dr. Malik. He's a super smart, chill guy who listens and reacts with wisdom in a very even-keeled way. He doesn't just throw medication at a problem; instead, he diagnoses in a cool, calm, and collected manner that is a testament to his many years of experience. It would be very, very difficult to find a better doctor in my humble opinion.
Dr. Malik is an attentive and compassionate provider who truly listens during appointments. Telehealth visits felt more like meaningful conversations than evaluations, which made it easy to openly discuss my needs and concerns. We always reviewed medication options together and made decisions as a team. I've only just started seeing Dr. Malik, but even in these early sessions, the experience has been incredibly positive.
