I hired AIM to manage a duplex as a trial to see if i should use them to manage more units. I did give them a property in a not so great part of town but they told me they could handle it when i hired them. The first thing they did was throw all the garbage out of the unit on the street for the homeless to pick through when they said they would take it to the dump. I put in work orders with no response I call and tell them I put a work order in and the person answers the phone says oh we were just checking them now after we were without using the toilet all night and half the day before someone came to fix it then recently I have electricity issues I put another work order in early enough in the day to get a response but still nothing now we have no power in the house thank God we have gas heat to keep warm worse part about it all there is no emergency number for emergency like this no... read more
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. They will not take care of you and your rights as a renter. They do not take accountability and blame the owners for all the problems. They do not answer the phone, emails, text. I have had multiple issues with my rental which take them MONTHS to take care of, most notably was not having hot water for 3 MONTHS, blaming the homeowners for not responding. I have never been the one to leave a warning review, but I feel obligated to here. If you are a property owner, run away. I own several properties that I rent, and when I moved to ABQ we decided to rent for a bit before picking the right neighborhood for us to buy in. AIM was the property manager, and it was a horrible experience for both us and the homeowner. They would never answer emails or calls (from us or the homeowner) when something was wrong.
