As a participant from several years ago, I found this place to have its highs and lows-\-\though more so the latter. Some mentors were good, and the weekend activities were fun. On the other hand, a significant deal of staff was ill-equipped to handle the participants. From my recollection, within the first two weeks of my arrival, on a spring break to Zion National Park in Utah, a staff member deserted the participants and ended up drinking with his friends who, coincidently, were there. I feel so fortunate to have found AIM House. They create structure and develop customized programs to meet the varying needs of young adults. I really appreciate how they help individuals find their way to succeed in their community as well as providing the support for each person to sustain long term success. Their instinct, knowledge and wide range of resources are the best!
