My doctor takes all the time she needs to meet my needs. She is level-headed and does not over prescribe. She has the answers to all my questions. She knows her patients personally and respects their opinions. Her office is well run and friendly. I see that as a direct reflection of her respect and care for her nurses as well.
I would indeed, but I am not sure if she is accepting new patients. I see her quarterly. She is the best physician I have ever been to. She is my primary care physician. Her nurses are excellent. Thanks to a program My Chart, which the hospital has, I can refill my prescriptions, send messages to my doctor via her nurse, read my test results, and much more.
I come from a medical family. My Dad was a physician, as is my brother. I have been to several physicians in Topeka, KS. Dr. McCarthy is my primary care physician, and by far one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I told her, and I mean it, I hope I am dead before you retire. She is that good. She specializes in pain relief and palliative care. I have never asked her a question, that she did not know the answer to, without having to look it up somewhere. If I could I would give her 15 stars.
She is patient, listens, responds with relevant questions, and does not give up!
