I drive almost four hours to have my car serviced here. They let me know (honestly) when I need new tires and always ask me before something is done that I didn't request. I have used Aids for several years and never have I been disappointed. I trust them to give me good service and be upfront with me. Aid Tire is a treasure in Lynchburg and the people who work there are great! (Woody even lets me do the crossword in the newspaper while I wait! :) )

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseYou must watch them on what they charge you for parts!! They charged me $272 for a remanufactured alternator that I could have bought new, across the street, online and from the Ford dealer for much less. In fact, the most expensive NEW part for the make and model of auto I own was $230. Premium remanufactired alternators topped out at about $170 with most being in the $130 range. In April of 2011 my wife and I were in Lynchburg for our son who was there as part of Liberty University hockey recruitment camp. While there one of my rear tires went wonky and needed to be replaced so I decided to replace both rear tires. Not knowing anyone or any thing about Lynchburg we had no idea where to go and just kind of stumbled into Aid Tire. They took us right in on a Saturday morning and within an hour we were on our way.
