nasty chop shop as soon as you walk in braiding hair is stuck to your feet. Owner looks like she always has an attitude or a passive aggressive aura. I paid $120 for these terrible looking braids on top of a $30 tip to have the leaning tower braided into my head. I've been coming here for years without issues, but my recent experience was very disappointing. I requested Fulani braids with specific instructions, but my stylist ignored my concerns and braided my hair so tightly that I had to remove it the same night due to scalp swelling. I specifically requested a bob loc hairstyle with braids in the front and showed a reference picture before service began. I also asked if the stylist was able to do the style, and I was not given a clear answer. If the style was not something they were comfortable or experienced with, I would have preferred that to be communicated upfront so I could have chosen a simple box braid style instead.
