I am indescribably disappointed and angry at Dr. Mukai's attitude toward my daughter. She is a D1 athlete battling a back injury trying to get set with treatment when she returns this summer. After working with Texas Ortho's exceptional front office team to jump through the hoops to forward medical records, etc., Dr. Mukai's team called back to say that they didn't want to get involved because my daughter had already seen another physician. Dr. Mukai was wonderful. She is very informative and thorough. I was not just a number patient in her office. She went above and beyond to meet my needs, even taking extra time to explain the processes I needed to follow to help me navigate the confusing VA maze. Dr. Mukai and her staff were excellent and efficient.
