Nice and timely. (Was my original review after my first visit.) I originally gave them five stars after my first appointment as well. I’m taking back three due to Dr. Mukai no longer wanting to see me any longer due to me being nervous the day of my neck/spine injection procedure once I arrived. I had never had a procedure like this done before, and the risks are terrifying. If the procedure hadn’t gone extremely well for me the rating would definitely go down further. Tried to schedule an appointment with Dr. Mukai. She reviewed my MRI and notes, etc. Five days later I get a callback and was told that she couldn't help me, refused to see me, and to see a pain specialist, instead. Seems like she may be avoiding a challenging or more difficult case. To me that's a copout and certainly not the sign of an accomplished medical professional, especially when the issue I was experiencing was listed on her professional biography and website as a problem area that she was very proficient at.
I saw Dr. Mukai for the first time this week. I had been referred to her for a hip injection I was very impressed with her bedside manner and ways of explaining everything. My hip is feeling so much better!
Dr. Mukai and her staff were excellent and so friendly. My mother came in with needed help with a hip problem. They were very timely and courteous.
