Dr Raslan was my neurosurgeon for a completely unexpected and emergent large tumor removal from my right frontal lobe. I was in a complete daze going through the process but knew I was in extremely capable hands. I had a craniotomy on December 14 and was able to go home on the 16th. I believe I am alive because of him and will always be in his debt. His team is incredibly talented, his residents are exceptional, thanks Dr. Shahim and Dr. Charron.

When I asked the anesthesiologist around 9:00 pm if Dr. Raslan was going to be ok to complete my surger... read more

Dr Raslan and team saved my life almost two years ago. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer that went to my brain. Dr Raslan successfully removed that nasty brain tumor. He's reviewed my MRI every six months since and will continue to do so. I live about five hours from OHSU making in person visits very difficult, so we chat via phone. I always look forward to our discussions. Thank you, Dr Raslan, and team for being in my corner at a time of need.

Dr. Raslan was my neurosurgeon two months ago for my retractable epilepsy. Going into the process of explaining the procedures and outcomes, he was thorough and always answered and repeated questions I had. Surgically, I am pleased and thankful for the work he did.

I was a patient of Dr Raslan in 2018. I had a complication where my vestibular artery was damaged during his surgery. Instead of being in the neurology unit for recovery, I was placed in cardiac ICU. I spent seven days being monitored and had 2 angiograms that confirmed my artery was blocked. I did not like his bedside manner. He was going to let me go home, but another Dr told him to have me stay to be monitored. Prior to the surgery I waited hours and hours before going in because he had an emergency he had to do. Also, th... read more
