Out of all the practices I’ve tried I feel like this one is right for me because he actually asks how I’m doing and it’s not just that he asks he asks the right way and the right questions to actually get the info he needs. To the people commenting about how he “pushes meds” and all this stuff, what did you expect when you went to a PSYCHIATRIST. I just got off the phone for my 2nd appointment with Dr khan. It lasted TWO minutes. I feel like I could just end my review here & that would be enough information to know NOT to go to him but I’ll elaborate to give you a better idea of how terrible he is. He told me to stop taking a medication when I said I didn’t like how I felt on it but never gave me instructions as to how to taper off. I've been a.patient of Dr. Khans for approximately 15 years and I would recommend anyone dealing with mental health problems, to make an appointment. He takes the time to ask the right questions, is competent and extremely knowledgeable in all areas( on non psychological issues as well). With multiple diagnosis and trial and error with finding the right multpile medications to work together treating said diagnosis, it can take years to find all.the right meds that work for you as it's different for everyone. Pushes meds and instead of listening or giving any advice just pushes more meds or ups your dosages. Does not actually care or pays attention. Not approachable and makes you feel worse about yourself. All about the $$$$.
