Dr.Huq is one of the most incompetent doctors out of childrens hospital. Back in 2016 my son had open heart surgery and start reverting. I was referred to Dr. Huq by colleagues of his. Dr. Huq said nothing was wrong with my son. I went back for another visit he suggested seizure meds. I asked if he is not having seizures why would I give them to him. Great doctor one of the few experts in his field. But his office mostly his nursing staff are a bunch of in-competent people, who mis-bill, can’t arrange appointments heck can’t even get a person to talk to. You’re routed through DMC for everything which is even worse than dealing with the government.
Waited for new patient exam never showed up. Very unprofessional , no consideration given to patients.
Horrible bedside manner! No compassion for the little ones.
Dr. Huq is not a good neurologist, he has caused an immense amount of trauma and stress to my family and I. He caused a ton of stress and complicated situations for us that were completely uncalled for. I am not comfortable going into detail about the multiple situations that has been a result of his malpractice. But I truly suggest you do more research into other neurologist if your child or someone you know needs to consult with one, it will save you a ton of time, money and energy.
