Introduced to this pharmacy waaaay back when it was 'Mom's' Pharmacy (good then, great now...). When I moved to East L.A. I wanted to use their services again. Before I did I had a dire need to fill several prescriptions from an Emergency Dept visit. I tried the local close typical (Walgreens/etc) and their co-pays/costs were exhorbitant... additionally, it was the end of the month, $$ were tight and so I went to this pharmacy hoping they'd recall my business and bill me. It is a little place that has limited business hours (8:30am-5:00pm, M-F) but that ends up not mattering at all because they provide a great mailing service for prescription refills, --especially for persons who are treated nearby whose medications are classified by law to require a new doctor-signed script for each month's worth of medications (i.e. - no actual refills are permissible).
