The food was excellent, and our server provided outstanding service. Unfortunately, our entire experience was overshadowed by the way the manager, Lanaea, handled the situation. AhbA Costa Mesa is one of those places that somehow works perfectly for takeout, but feels even better when you sit down in person. We order from here all the time, and my go-to is their Caesar with salmon. The gem lettuce is always so crisp and consistent, and I love that the breadcrumbs are tossed all throughout instead of just sitting on top. Cool new restaurant. Kind staff and tasty food. Fast casual concept, but they take great care of you once seated. Rooftop "speakeasy" is fun too.
