So my wife and I applied at one of their places and got approved. We picked a house that was suitable for us, 3 beds, 2 bath for $1700. Paid the deposit for the place and signed the rental agreement about 2 hours later we received a call saying, they have to refund our MONEY ORDERS that had already been signed off with their business name on it because they made a mistake and the property we selected was actually $1850, so they can either issue a refund or we have to select another house. Moved from Colorado Springs, CO to Burlington, NC in March 2025. I was very concerned about finding the right house in the right neighborhood. AHB website search was easy to use and full of pictures to help me find my home. Staff was absolutely lovely to deal with and answered all my questions. All contract work was done over email and DocuSign making it super easy from CO. I was warmly welcomed when I finally made it to NC to pick up my keys. My experience with AHB has been stellar.
