She always has a very preventative approach and doesn't do unnecessary procedures and tests. I'm lucky to have her as my family physician for years
She's terrible. Every time I need a prescription refill, it is a major hassle. Either she doesnt call it in, or calls in the wrong refill, or only gives 1 refill for my blood pressure medication. She doesn't ever seem to know what's going on with my health...she asks questions about my health history that she should already know from my records.
Understanding of medical conditions and the person as a whole. Great listener, approachable with questions and also clearly instructs on self-care.
Dr. Thomas has been a great doc. I have seen her for several years and she has always been able to help me with any of my illnesses.
Everyone I go for a treatment or condition she prescribes a medicine that does not treat the condition, or tells me if I lose weight my problems will go away. I'm suffering from an infection and she prescribes asthma meds. So when I suffer for days I need to wait 2 plus hours in her slow waiting room to hear more nonsense. She shouldn't be licensed to practice medicine.
I've been a patient of Dr. Thomas' for several years. I will not be going back to her ever again. Recently I have caught something. The desk was very nice and scheduling me emergency visit. When I went in, Dr. Thomas told me its too early to do anything. You can hear the congestion in my head and she saw fluid in my ears. She put me on a decongestant, told me I was contagious but told me to go back to work. She also told me to call next week to get an antibiotic. Doesn't listen! Doesn't help!
