RecommendedI never even heard of this place. I got the curry chicken bowl and the oxtail bowl with a brown sugar pink lemonade. DELICIOUS!!! They just gained a new loyal customer.
We had eaten at their food truck when they provided food for the major taylor bicycle club’s annual ride. We didn’t know they were in the Dayton Mall Food Court. I had the chicken cheesesteak. I enjoyed it and it might become a favorite when we’re looking for something to eat. We live ten miles south of the mall but we’ll add it to our list.
My husband ate the Jerk chicken dinner at this establishment. It was overpriced, and he did not enjoy the meal. Also, the price for the little container, was really too high. He found the food too sweet, the rice under cooked and hard, the chicken, tasteless and dry. Cabbage and the few strips of carrots, overly sweet. I don't know who cooked today, but he only gives 1 star. He won't be eating there again. Not good Caribbean food.
So I went to Agnes Grill in the Dayton Mall today around 5pm. As I’m waiting in line to be waited on. A guy comes behind me to stand in line. The cashier immediately started laughing and joking with him never even acknowledging me. So as I stand there waiting on even a hi from him. He began to tell the guy that there is a 20 minute wait on the chicken. They guy says I don’t want no chicken just some fries. He says oh so you want the cheesesteak fries? The customer says yes.
