I came to Agentic nearly two years ago following the death of my husband. As a counselor, myself, I knew I needed help processing my grief. I researched therapists in Staunton and the surrounding area, and Dan Koz's name kept showing up, so I reached out to him to schedule an appointment. I can't say enough good things about Dan. I have been in some form of therapy since I was 16 years old (now middle aged); I have also been in very different kinds of therapy during my lifetime. Agentic is, without question, the best I have experienced, by an order of magnitude; Dr. Hamilton and his team are a remarkable combination of kind, attentive, and rigorous, and I would not give up therapy there for another therapist. If I move out of Charlottesvillle, I will still go online; nothing could pry me away from Agentic.
I love and continue to love getting treatment here. I feel validated, and understood here. I also feel that I can be honest about my problems and Dr. Hamilton and Dan Koz will listen and take my concerns seriously. I have made mountains of progress since first coming to this practice 4/5 years ago. I have grown more as a person and healed more from my mental health. Cannot recommend this practice enough!
