Pretty delicious, so much has improved since last year. Overall we have had great service every time and everything is really fresh. Chips this time around were perfect, hot and very good. It is a cool place & atmosphere. You will be full after two tacos depending on which one you get. They don’t give you a ton of meat in the tacos, they are mostly rice. Drinks are also super, love the margs and specials offered during the week, so definitely check their website for discounts and more!
Truly the best birria tacos i have ever had! I would also recommend the crown jewel taco!
The restaurant was clean, energetic and looked great. The bartender was very attentive and nice (margarita was too sugary though). The menu has interesting and different options. However, both me and my husband got sick from the food. I was feeling sick before we left the restaurant and my husband was sick 2 hours later. The experience was definitely not worth the stomach pain and throwing up.
The atmosphere is unmatched , the menu is hilarious and the pour on the margaritas was heavy, the food was delicious and the staff bugging me vs leaving us chat was perfect ! We both got taco flights . $15 for any 3 tacos on the menu was fantastic! I went on Monday and margarita were half off … will be back ! Nothing like the max and Erma’s that use to be here building completely unrecognizable!
TLDR; This place has huge potential. There are some really solid items on the menu. They need to work on branding and training waitstaff. Suggested order if you just want good tacos that aren’t overcomplicated: Start with Elote, and order chips on the side. Tacos: chipotle chika, Alderman (chicken), Plain Jane, Gangsta, Island Banger.
